About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist at Easton Health Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Easton, Kansas. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders, including speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication needs. The SLP helps patients improve their function and quality of life through individualized therapy and collaboration with the care team. The schedule is Monday through Friday and flexible, with a competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state SLP license.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills.

Nice To Haves

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Prior speech therapy experience; new graduates are welcome.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology.
