About The Position

Sentara is hiring a Speech Pathologist to work in the Hampton and Williamsburg, Virginia areas. This is a Full-Time Day shift opportunity. This position involves working between SWRMC Outpatient Rehab and the Coliseum Therapy Center, with 3 days at Coliseum and 2 days at Williamsburg. As a Speech Pathologist, you will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You will also provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers, and supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Requirements

  • Certified by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) when meets eligibility requirements.
  • A Master's level degree (Speech Pathology) is required.
  • 1 year of experience is required for Resource Pool applicants.

  • Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
  • Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
