Speech-Language Pathologist
About The Position
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans. This PRN Speech-Language Pathologist position in San Dimas, CA offers flexible scheduling and low patient ratios. We are looking for a committed individual to join our team-based workplace that puts people first.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of speech therapy assistant with a minimum of Bachelors Degree
- Active California SLP licensure.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities
- Administer the speech therapy treatment plan as developed by the Speech Language Pathologist.
- Apply concepts of infection control and standard precautions in performing patient care activities.
- Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with the education and competence to care for the patients.
- Use effective interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Meet mandatory continuing education requirements
- Promote compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third party payers, through education, coaching and other assistance as necessary
- Demonstrate commitment, professional growth and competency
- Perform other related duties and activities as required.
