About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year in the greater Salem, OR area, specifically for an Early Childhood role (Ages 3-5). The role is in-person and full-time, potentially requiring travel between school sites in Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Oregon SLP License (or CFY)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services in the school setting
- Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
- Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
- Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
