About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join their Early Intervention team in Salem, Oregon, specifically in Marion County. The role involves supporting children aged birth to three during their critical developmental years in the vibrant communities of the mid-Willamette Valley. The position focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services, conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify developmental delays and determine eligibility for early childhood services, and partnering with families and caregivers to implement communication strategies within the child’s natural environment.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Oregon Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License
- Must complete background check and two sets of fingerprints for school clearance

- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) (Highly Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized speech and language services to a caseload of children ages birth to three, focusing on foundational communication milestones.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify developmental delays and determine eligibility for early childhood services.
- Partner with families and caregivers to implement communication strategies within the child’s natural environment.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports using a district-provided laptop.
