About The Position

TheraPeds Partners is hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year in Lakewood, Colorado. This is a full-time opportunity with guaranteed hours, dedicated documentation and planning time, a manageable caseload, and support from both TheraPeds and the school district. The role involves providing school-based speech and language services to help students strengthen the communication skills they need to participate successfully in school.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Active or eligible New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, eligibility, and school-based service delivery
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Good organization and time-management skills
Comfort with technology and documentation
Ability to complete required background clearances

Nice To Haves

Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
School-based or pediatric experience

Responsibilities

Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy
Develop and implement IEP goals and intervention plans
Address articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social/pragmatic communication, and other communication needs
Conduct evaluations and reevaluations and interpret assessment results
Collect data, monitor progress, and complete progress reports
Develop IEP documentation and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related-service providers
Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support student communication
Complete required documentation and maintain accurate service records
