About The Position
Edgefield Post Acute is a well-established skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility conveniently located in Edgefield, SC, just a short distance from Aiken and Augusta. We are searching for a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Part Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping others thrive.
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply!)
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus—but not required!
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that maximize independence and quality of life.
- Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide exceptional resident-centered care.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Celebrate every milestone and encourage residents as they achieve meaningful goals.
