About The Position
Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is a clinician-owned company that is rapidly growing and understands the needs of home healthcare professionals. We are hiring a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve the Falmouth residential area of Massachusetts due to continued growth and increasing patient demand. This role offers flexibility, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment. VRNS works with the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Waiver Program, providing consistent patient scheduling while maintaining the flexibility and autonomy of home health care.
Requirements
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Nice To Haves
- Home healthcare experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing impairments
- Assess communication and swallowing functions to ensure patient safety and provide necessary recommendations
- Provide patient and caregiver education to improve functional outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure high-quality patient care
