About The Position

PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site speech therapy services within a federally supported school-based program in Crownpoint, New Mexico. This role supports a community-focused educational environment serving students with diverse needs. The position plays a key role in helping students develop communication skills essential for academic success and daily life.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Ability to pass a background check and security clearance
  • Must be able to work on-site (no remote option)
  • Current immunizations and health clearance as required
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience (preferred in school-based or pediatric settings)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and special education services
  • Ability to work independently in a structured environment
  • Experience working in school-based settings
  • Experience supporting underserved or rural communities
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary care teams

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech/language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and program guidelines
