About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in East Corinth, Vermont, beginning August 2026 for the 2026–2027 school year. This role serves a PK–8 student population and is primarily direct therapy services (mostly pull-out) with some case management responsibilities. We welcome both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP / CFY) interested in pediatric and school-based therapy.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
Active Vermont SLP license (or eligibility)
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education preferred

Responsibilities

Provide school-based speech-language therapy services (primarily pull-out) to PK–8 students
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
Manage a caseload including IEP case management responsibilities
Support students with: Articulation and phonology, Receptive and expressive language, Social/pragmatic communication, Fluency and voice disorders
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists (OTs), and physical therapists (PTs)
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
