About The Position

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a full-time school-based position. As a school-based SLP, you'll work directly with students in their educational environment, playing a vital role in their academic and social success. This role offers a predictable weekday schedule that aligns with school hours, summers off and built-in holidays, and the ability to build lasting relationships with students, teachers, and school teams. You will also receive collaborative, interdisciplinary support through IEP teams and district resources. PDS offers professional development and career growth opportunities, including mentorship, joining leadership teams, or specializing in areas like bilingual services, AAC, or early childhood. There is built-in support for new and experienced clinicians, including mentorship, ongoing CEUs, and experienced colleagues. Schools are ideal for Clinical Fellows (CFs) or seasoned CCC-SLPs looking for a stable, enriching environment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state SLP license

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized services based on student IEPs/504 plans
  • Conduct evaluations, write reports, and monitor progress in areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
