About The Position
Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team in a part-time role. This position is based in a welcoming and supportive environment at Dragonfly's St. James and Melville Centers. The role involves providing essential speech and language services to children during weekday afternoons and early evenings (3-7pm). The hourly rate for this position ranges from $65-90/hr, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Valid New York Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Pediatric/school-aged evaluation and treatment experience strongly preferred
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Ability to work independently in various settings and as part of a collaborative team
- Valid Licensure and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to children, focusing on improving communication skills.
- Collaborate with staff and parents regularly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
