About The Position

AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an elementary school opportunity in Wilmington, Delaware, for the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite position will support a blended caseload of approximately 45 elementary-aged students (Kindergarten through 6th grade) with various communication needs. The SLP will collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers to help students achieve their communication goals. Students may present with articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, fluency disorders, and other speech and language communication needs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Current or eligible Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with school-based evaluations, IEP development, and educational documentation is preferred.
  • School-based experience preferred
  • Knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, and special education processes preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services
  • Develop and implement IEP goals
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and IEP meetings
  • Complete documentation and Medicaid billing (if applicable)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
