About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist at Eastview Manor Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Trenton, Missouri. The role provides assessment and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders, addressing speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication needs to help patients improve function and quality of life. Care includes individualized therapy, with group or concurrent treatment representing less than 1% of care. The schedule is Monday through Friday and is flexible. Pay is a competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Prior speech therapy experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology.
