About The Position
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time Blackstone Valley Health and Rehabilitation | Whitinsville, MA. You'll support residents in a skilled nursing setting with care that helps them express their needs, use cognitive strategies, and manage swallowing difficulties.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Strong clinical judgment, collaboration, and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Evaluate speech, language, cognition, and swallowing function
- Establish individualized goals and provide treatment based on residents' needs
- Teach communication and memory strategies that support daily routines
- Coordinate swallowing recommendations with nursing and the care team
- Reassess progress and maintain timely clinical documentation
