About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated multidisciplinary educational team. In this role, you will diagnose, assess, and treat school-aged students starting at PreK, with communication, speech, and language disorders to help them achieve academic and social success. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to build inclusive, supportive learning environments.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Active or eligible State Board License in Speech-Language Pathology for [Insert State].
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates.
  • Prior experience working in public school settings or pediatric clinics is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Student Evaluations: Administer comprehensive speech, language, and communication screenings and assessments.
  • Develop IEP Plans: Design measurable goals for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) mapped to state curriculum standards.
  • Deliver Engaging Therapy: Provide direct and indirect clinical therapy services to address articulation, fluency, voice, and language delays.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Partner with special education staff, classroom teachers, occupational therapists, and families for holistic child development.
  • Maintain Timely Documentation: Keep precise, compliant daily therapy logs, progress reports, and Medicaid billing data.
  • Manage Alternative Communication: Program and implement Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices for non-verbal students.
