Speech Language Pathologist
About The Position
Seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to assist a multidisciplinary team in the Day Neuro Clinic. The program focuses on returning patients with acquired brain injuries and additional co-morbidities (including aphasia, cognitive communication deficits, motor speech disorders, dysphagia) to their highest level of independence and community reintegration. Patients are treated as part of a multidisciplinary team, six hours a day, Monday through Friday. Cognitive rehab, TBI and CVA experience is required. The ideal candidate will be creative, innovative, flexible, and work well within a team. Available shifts are weekdays between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm, with a consistent need currently available.
Requirements
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
- Cognitive rehab, TBI and CVA experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience (CFY - Clinical Fellowship Year) preferred.
