About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position. This role involves supporting K-12 students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. The position is ideal for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship provided. The role is full-time, starting August 2026, with a flexible school schedule and is a remote position.

Requirements

  • Valid Colorado State SLP license (or ability to obtain)
  • Colorado CDE Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • School-based experience preferred, not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting
  • Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
  • Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
  • Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
