Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is now hiring a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional home healthcare throughout the Newton, MA area.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
- Afternoon availability

- Previous home care experience
- Monday–Friday availability
Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
- Providing therapy for communication disorders and dysphagia management
- Conducting cognitive and functional communication training
- Educating patients and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and safety
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Completing accurate, timely electronic documentation
