About The Position
EDU-AIDS is hiring a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Akron, OH 44320. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and offers a Monday-Friday schedule during school hours.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student needs
