ROCKBRIDGE AREA COMMUNITY SERVICES (RACS) is currently seeking a motivated, qualified individual to work in our coverage area of Rockbridge and Bath Counties, and the Cities of Lexington and Buena Vista. RACS will provide training, supervision, and education opportunities specific to the position. The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) functions as a member of the transdisciplinary team in the RAISE Early Intervention program for families with infants and toddlers who have developmental delays and/or disabilities or who are at high risk for delay. The RAISE Speech-Language Pathologist must exercise sound judgment and initiative, must work well with little direct supervision, and must maintain client confidentiality in accordance with RACS policies and procedures, FERPA, and HIPAA. This is a part-time (less than 29 hours per week) position.
