About The Position

Jupiter Medical Center is a leading healthcare destination in Palm Beach County and the greater Treasure Coast, recognized for its safety, quality, and patient satisfaction. The Speech Language Pathologist position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of medically prescribed therapy services to help patients achieve maximum developmental potential, functional gains, and independence. The therapist will work independently, making appropriate decisions based on individual patient needs. This role involves the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders stemming from various conditions. The position also includes performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology (SLP), graduated from an accredited Speech Language program.
• Current Florida Speech Pathology License
• American Heart Association BLS Certification for Health Care Providers
• Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs., carry and lift up to 50lbs.
• Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation
• TB/PPD Surveillance Program
• Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
