Speech Language Pathologist
About The Position
LivinRite Home Health is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a difference, one patient at a time, all while enjoying a flexible daytime schedule that fits your life. This role involves providing one-on-one patient care in a home setting, focusing on helping patients improve communication and swallowing functions. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, possess strong clinical skills with creative therapy techniques, and be committed to high-quality, patient-centered care. Requirements
- A current and unrestricted license to practice Speech Therapy in the State of Virginia.
- Current BLS CPR certification.
- Must be able to direct care appropriately to support the specific populations (adult & geriatric) provided in nursing services.
- Experience in office procedures including: ability to work independently with minimal supervision, ability to resolve problems and set priorities, excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with confidence, clarity and attention to detail, pleasant telephone demeanor with exceptional customer service skills, basic typing and computer skills, ability to work cohesively with others and multi-task in a busy office setting.
- Current and active driver's license and car insurance.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in home health, acute care or rehabilitation setting.
