About The Position

Eyas Landing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their multidisciplinary team. This role involves providing evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative and innovative environment. The SLP will provide speech therapy to children and families in the clinic, clients' schools, and homes, working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. The position focuses on fostering each child's speech, receptive and expressive language, and feeding and swallowing needs through individualized therapy, implementing approaches like SOS Approach to Feeding, Get Permission Approach, AAC, and IRM, collaborating with occupational and physical therapists and social workers, and documenting progress while communicating with families.

Requirements

  • Skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Ability to provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.
  • Proficiency in implementing therapeutic approaches such as Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Get Permission Approach, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
  • Ability to collaborate with occupational and physical therapists, and social workers.
  • Skills in documenting progress and communicating with families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech therapy to children and families in the clinic, clients' schools, and homes.
  • Work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.
  • Foster each child's speech, receptive and expressive language, feeding and swallowing needs.
  • Provide individualized therapy.
  • Implement therapeutic approaches such as Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Get Permission Approach, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
  • Collaborate daily with occupational and physical therapists, and social workers.
  • Document progress and communicate with families to support continuity of care.
