About The Position

The Pediatric Movement Center (PMC) is a therapist-owned, pediatric outpatient clinic with locations in Hagerstown and Frederick, Maryland. We provide speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, developmental classes, and community programs to children and young adults up to age 21. PMC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our pediatric outpatient team. This role focuses on clinic-based pediatric speech and language services, supporting children with speech, language, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing needs. SLPAs work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to implement individualized treatment plans in a supportive, family-centered environment. Clinical Fellows and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

SLP: Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
SLP: CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow (CF) in progress
SLPA: Graduation from an accredited SLPA program (as applicable)
Active Maryland license or ability to obtain
Pediatric therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome)
Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Conduct pediatric speech and language evaluations and treatments
Address receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing
Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress
Support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs when appropriate
Educate families on home programs and carryover strategies
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team
