About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure)
Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, Home Health, or Outpatient Therapy is preferred but not required
New graduates and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Provide evidence-based interventions to improve communication and swallowing safety
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and compensatory techniques
Collaborate with PTs, PTAs, OTs, OTAs, nursing staff, physicians, and care teams
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with Medicare and regulatory standards
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning to support optimal patient outcomes
