At Centerpoint Health in Winchester , H2 Health provides inpatient therapy services to a diverse adult and geriatric population. Our clinicians treat a wide range of diagnoses including neurological conditions, stroke, medically complex cases, cognitive-communication disorders, and swallowing impairments. Whether you prefer maintaining a broad inpatient caseload or focusing your expertise in areas such as dysphagia management, cognitive rehabilitation, or medically complex care, we support your clinical strengths and professional interests. Your Role: As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in this inpatient hospital setting, you will: Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Provide skilled intervention for dysphagia, communication disorders, and cognitive deficits Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, case management, and PT/OT teams Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and discharge planning Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards This is an experienced-level role and is not designed for new graduates.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Active Kentucky SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Minimum of 1+ year of clinical experience preferred
  • Prior inpatient or hospital-based experience strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage medically complex patients
  • Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
