About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based assignment in Elizabeth, Colorado. The ideal candidate will support students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders while collaborating with school staff and families to improve educational outcomes.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required
- Active Colorado Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification required by start date

- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and maintain documentation
- Passion for working with children and supporting educational outcomes
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
- Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and progress evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide documentation and recommendations
- Maintain accurate student records, therapy notes, and compliance documentation
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Support students with communication strategies for academic and social success
- Ensure compliance with educational and professional standards
