About The Position

TransPerfect Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team at Holbrook Sugar Hill, a premier assisted living and memory care facility. The facility serves the active-aging community in Sugar Hill, GA. The SLP will be responsible for providing compassionate, proactive care to the aging population in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. Requirements

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
• ASHA accreditation or equivalent
• At least 8-10 weekday hours of availability between 9AM and 3PM

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
