About The Position
Exceptional Rehab is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at St. Charles located in Covington, KY. Exceptional Rehab, located within the warm and welcoming at St. Charles facility, is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate therapy services to individuals in need of rehabilitative care. We focus on improving the quality of life for our residents through personalized, attentive care and fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure.
Nice To Haves
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident goals and needs.
- Provide patient and family education to support continuity of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate optimal patient care.
- Document resident progress, treatment, and any necessary updates accurately.
