About The Position

Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our outpatient therapy team in Phoenix. We are looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with a strong background in treating cognitive-communication, speech/language, swallowing, and voice disorders. The ideal candidate will have experience or clinical exposure in an outpatient and/or neuro-based setting and value collaboration within the SLP department and with an interdisciplinary therapy team. CCC Required for this position (CFY candidates will not be considered).

Requirements

Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
State SLP licensure required.
ASHA certification is required.
300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.

Responsibilities

Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services.
Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs.
Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes and provide ongoing evaluation of their status and goals.
