Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MA or MS)
Active New York State SLP license
ASHA Clinical Competence Certification (CCC)
Strong communication skills and professional maturity
Team-oriented mindset and commitment to clinical excellence

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their speech, language, and swallowing needs.
Deliver engaging therapy sessions that drive real progress in communication and cognitive function.
Coordinating audiometric screenings and referrals
Collaborating with care teams and families to maximize outcomes
Maintaining accurate progress notes and Medicare documentation
Attending care planning and interdisciplinary meetings
Providing in-service education for staff and contributing to program improvement
Upholding safety standards while delivering care with dignity and respect
