This role involves the assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders of patients, reporting to the Clinical Manager. The position is currently aligned with Rehabilitation - EB4, but this is subject to change.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent as recognized by the College
Member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
Successful completion of the mandatory FIM (Functional Independence Measure) certification provided by the hospital within the established timeline
Able to work independently and with members of an interdisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

Experience with assessment, interventions and treatment plans for persons with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorder
Knowledge and experience with Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC)
Fluent in French and English
