Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and hold an applicable and current, unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license) (for SLP).
  • Master’s degree in occupational therapy and hold an applicable and current, unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license) (for OT).
  • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and hold an applicable and current, unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license) (for PT).
  • An individual who thrives on being part of a team, working alongside other disciplines, as needed (for all candidates).

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and provide treatment for patients with physical, emotional and/or psychosocial needs (Occupational Therapist).
  • Evaluate children from birth to age 21 for fine motor development, visual motor development, sensory processing and modulation differences, executive functioning skills, and more to determine impact on activities of daily living (ADLs), rest and sleep, education, play, leisure, and social participation (Occupational Therapist).
  • Work closely with patient caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans (Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist).
  • Maintain professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities and uphold federal/state licensure and ethical expectations (Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist).
  • Prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children (Speech Language Pathologist).
  • Evaluate and treat children from birth to age 21 for speech, language, oral motor, feeding, voice, fluency, articulation, or social communication disorders to achieve the highest level of functioning and prevent regression (Speech Language Pathologist).
  • Accurately document treatment sessions as well as progress or evaluation reports in detail (Speech Language Pathologist).
  • Examine and evaluate children from birth to age 21 with a variety of congenital and orthopedic conditions to improve mobility through skilled gross motor interventions including but not limited to gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises (Physical Therapist).
