About The Position

This position is for a Speech Language Pathologist II (SLP) on a PRN (as needed) basis with flexible scheduling based on department needs. The role is located at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, IL. The Speech Language Pathologist II will work within the Rehabilitation Services department, focusing on Rehab/Therapy/Sleep. Requirements

  • Graduate (e.g., master or doctorate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Board Certification (e.g., BCS-CL, etc.) which meets rigorous standards of maintenance or certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Speech Language Pathology services as needed.
  • Adapt schedule based on department needs.
