About The Position

The Speech Language Pathologist II - Inpatient - Days position is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with hours typically from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, and rotating weekends. Employees may be required to float to other locations (HP and EV) to meet patient care needs. This role involves providing evaluation, treatment, and follow-up services to physician-referred patients, preparing and maintaining accurate patient records, and participating in the clinical supervision of students.

Requirements

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of IL required.
• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from a university program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• CPR certification required.
• Holds or is working towards a Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American-Speech-Hearing Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician referred patients
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing
• Participates in the clinical supervision of students
