Speech Language Pathologist I Pediatrics
About The Position
Responsible for administering diagnostic and habilitative/rehabilitative services to referred patients and maintaining records related to those services. Observes, evaluates, and documents diagnostic and treatment effects. Consults with a supervisor on relevant program and professional development matters, including research projects, program expansion, record keeping, and policies and procedures. Participates in team dynamics and interdisciplinary activities when appropriate. The position serves pediatric patients at the James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital, part of ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. The hospital provides specialized pediatric services, including a Level IV NICU, a quaternary PICU with ECMO capabilities, a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department, and a specialized critical care transport team.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Science and Disorders.
- Less than three years of licensure.
- Current Speech Language Pathology License issued by NCBOESLPA.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology awarded by ASHA, or obtain it within one year of hire.
