The Speech Language Pathologist I evaluates all assigned patients and is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing treatment plans as outlined by the plan of care. This role involves the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services. The Speech Language Pathologist I also serves as an educator for patients, families, students, co-workers, and engages in self-professional advancement. Additionally, the position performs other professional duties associated with patient care, the development of therapy program services, and the engagement and development of interdisciplinary teams.
