The Speech-Language Pathologist – Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP) provides assessment, intervention, and case management services that support students' communication development and access to instruction. Working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist during the Clinical Fellowship year, this role partners with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver legally compliant, high-quality speech-language services that improve student outcomes. In this role, you execute assigned work with quality and independence while practicing within the scope of your Clinical Fellowship and the supervision requirements established by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board and ASHA. You determine how to complete assigned clinical work and escalate situations requiring supervisory review or clinical consultation. In this role, you execute assigned tasks with quality and on time, working within a scope set by others. You decide how to approach your work; you escalate anything outside it.
