About The Position

As an outpatient pediatric clinician, you will have the chance to work with many children from birth to age twenty-one. Our teammates are dedicated to the treatment of our young patients, providing individualized one-to-one attention and customized plans of care to meet your child’s needs. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions so they can carry skills and home exercises into their child's daily life. Requirements

  • AAS Degree or a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Certificate
  • Current or pending licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant within the respective state (Virginia)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized one-to-one attention to pediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement customized plans of care.
  • Encourage parents and caregivers to attend sessions to carry skills and home exercises into the child's daily life.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide world-class care in speech therapy services.
  • Serve patients in need of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) services.
  • Focus on individualized treatment plans due to reasonable caseloads.
  • Mentor students and become a certified clinical instructor (for experienced teammates).
