About The Position

TheraPeds Partners is a therapist-owned and operated organization that partners with schools to provide Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services to PreK–12 students nationwide. As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Our mission is to deliver high-quality Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services while making meaningful connections in a collaborative learning environment. This is a part-time, on-site role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving a school located in Rapid City, SD, for the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves providing services to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade, delivering individualized therapy, completing assessments, collaborating with educational teams, and participating in treatment planning. The SLPA will work closely with the supervising SLP to support service delivery, clinical development, and student outcomes. Paid hours include direct services, documentation, preparation, consultation, team meetings, and other professional responsibilities. The position offers consistent support from both the partnering district and the TheraPeds team, a balanced caseload, and competitive compensation.

Requirements

• Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA approved institution
• State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where required
• Department of Education Licensure as a SLPA, where required
• Experience working with children
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Responsibilities
