About The Position

Premier Pediatric Therapy is seeking a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-home pediatric therapy in the Lufkin and Nacogdoches areas. The role supports children’s communication, cognitive, social, and emotional development through a collaborative, whole-child care model. The assistant provides therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP and partners with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team. The position is PRN and part-time, with flexible scheduling options and a choice of in-home or hybrid work. Pay starts at $38 per session. Eligibility for stipends and bonuses depends on meeting required visit minimums and length of employment.

Requirements

• Be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Texas.
• Have experience or a strong interest in pediatrics.
• Have a positive, energetic attitude and a heart for helping children.
• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Be fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support children in developing speech, language, social, and communication skills.
• Partner with families and caregivers to promote carryover and celebrate progress.
• Maintain detailed documentation and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
