Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
About The Position
Premier Pediatric Therapy is hiring a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-home pediatric therapy in the Lufkin and Nacogdoches areas. The role supports children’s communication, cognitive, social, and emotional development through a collaborative care model. The SLPA provides therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP and works with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team. The position is PRN and part-time, with flexible scheduling and in-home or hybrid options. Pay starts at $38 per session. Eligibility for travel stipends and bonuses depends on meeting required visit minimums and length of employment.
Requirements
- Hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in Texas.
- Have experience or a strong interest in pediatrics.
- Have a positive, energetic attitude and a passion for helping children.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Be fluent in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Support children in developing speech, language, social, and communication skills.
- Partner with families and caregivers to promote carryover and celebrate progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
