About The Position

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving a school located in Anchorage, AK. The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting screeners, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Requirements

Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA approved institution
State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where required
Department of Education Licensure as a SLPA, where required
Experience working with children
Organizational and time management skills
Proficient in use of technology
Organizational and time management skills
Fingerprint background clearance
Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
