PRN Speech-Language Pathologist - Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring Speech Language Pathologists in Tampa, FL, to work with Advent Health Carrollwood. This role involves providing rehabilitation therapy services in an acute care setting. The partnership with Advent Health Carrollwood, a 120-bed facility and Primary Stroke Center, means clinicians will primarily treat post-operative orthopedic cases with some neuro cases. Requirements
- Graduate of a CAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
- Basic Life Support certification

Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care
- Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
Benefits
- Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour + $65.00 on call rate
