About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging After School Speech & Debate Instructor to lead our program for 3rd-5th graders. This role involves teaching students the fundamentals of speech and debate in a fun and interactive environment. The instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking, and building confidence in young learners. This is a part-time position with classes held on Wednesdays from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM.
Requirements
- Experience in Speech and/or Debate (competitive or coaching).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and manage elementary school-aged children.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be available on Wednesdays from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM.
- Background check may be required.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching or tutoring experience, especially with elementary students.
- Experience in curriculum development.
- Knowledge of various speech and debate formats.
Responsibilities
