Requirements

Active Speech Language Pathology Assistant license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
Ability to pass background and fingerprint clearance
TB clearance (as required)
Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the direction of a supervising SLP.
Create and adapt therapy materials for both verbal and non-verbal students, including AAC supports, visual schedules, and communication boards.
Provide engaging, student-centered speech-language therapy sessions tailored to varying functional levels and communication needs.
Partner with teachers, families, and care teams to reinforce strategies and promote student success inside and outside the classroom.
Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, therapy sessions, and goal tracking in alignment with district and compliance standards.
For school-based roles, time off is typically aligned with school breaks to support consistent student services.
