The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide high-quality services, assessments, and consultation across the district in collaboration with building-based and district staff. This role is crucial for implementing all aspects of Child Find, including referring, screening, evaluating, diagnosing, and recommending intervention strategies for referred students. The SLP will also be responsible for completing all assessments and progress reports within IDEA timelines, maintaining written records of service delivery, and consulting with administration, staff, and families regarding interventions and strategies for identified students. Participation in IEP/504 eligibility meetings and supervision of SLPAs are also key components of this position.
