Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is recruiting a Full or Part Time In-House Speech/Language Pathologist to become a part of our team! The purpose of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is to assess, diagnose, treat, and provide support to individuals with communication disorders, speech impairments, language delays, voice disorders, fluency disorders, and swallowing difficulties. The primary goals of an SLP are communication Improvement, speech clarity and intelligibility, language development, swallowing and feeding function, voice rehabilitation, Fluency Enhancement, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Collaboration and Advocacy. Overall, the purpose of an SLP is to enhance an individual's communication abilities, facilitate functional and effective communication, and improve their overall quality of life. SLPs play a vital role in helping individuals overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential in personal, academic, and professional settings.
