About The Position

The SpED Paraeducator - School Adjustment (SA) position is located at Kent-Meridian High School. This role is a continuing contract position with 6.5 hours per day, operating on a 190-day KAP Calendar. The hourly salary ranges from $30.89 to $37.99, based on the KAP Salary Schedule and verified years of experience in an educational unit. The salary is annualized and spread through August. Upon hire, paraeducators are required to complete state-required training offered through the KSD Professional Development Team.

Requirements

  • Associate (AA) degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • 72 college-level credits from an accredited institution.
  • A score of 455 or higher on the ETS ParaPro Assessment and proof of high school completion or equivalent.
  • Willingness to take the ParaPro Assessment if not currently meeting the qualification (opportunity provided to chosen finalists before formal hiring).
